STRATEGY
Strategy for example, can be from an organisation or business unit perspective, it may involve competitor or customer research, it may involve employee and culture research, it may link to implementation, organisation design and leadership training, it may relate to a cross organisation initiative like risk management or integrating a merger. Practical teamwork tools
TEAMWORK
Patrick Lencioni's 'Five Dysfunctions of Team' provides a practical tool to analyse and improve teamwork and I base my methodology on his proven approach. Â I quantify and analyse the current team's performance, and then with the team, explore and design practical steps to improve communications, trust and performance. Repeated analytics can then measure improvement over the next 3 to 12 months.

Results focused Coaching
LEADERSHIP
My approach to leadership coaching is to make it a practical results focused exercise. Â The candidate and I work though the candidate's personal career aspirations, personal development needs and business priority results they are responsible for. From that a goal is developed that we work towards over a 6 month period utilising a number of personal insight tools. Quantifiable 360 feedback is sought at the beginning and end of the six month period to assess progress.

Joe Flynn is a facilitator specialising in strategy, team performance and leadership coaching, working with CEOs, senior executives, management teams and industry groups across Australia, New Zealand and the US.

I'm not a Consultant and don't provide advice, I facilitate which means I help people create their own solutions. ​ Often that involves challenging and questioning, helping an established group get to the heart of the matter quicker and to distil priorities and actions. Sometimes it is about helping groups that are not communicating well.

I became a Facilitator in 2010 after 20+ years in various CEO and Chair roles. My motivation? To help teams get on the same page with more clarity and trust and ultimately to lift their performance. Individually it is about helping you achieve more success in your career and doing that with less stress.

An external, neutral, questioning voice can be very effective in cutting through the fog that can blur focus, limit commitment, stifle open discussion and frustrate effective team work. Externally it may involve making sense of digital disruption, customer and competitor trends and distilling those insights to arrive at clear answers to simple yet challenging questions like: What do we want to win at? Where do we want to play? What will we do to beat existing and emerging competition and create customer value? What attitudes and behaviours in this room may limit success?
As a Facilitator, Joe has facilitated 500+ workshops for Boards, Management Teams, Project Teams and large stakeholder groups from business, universities and not for profit sector.
Joe equips organisations large and small with the right tools and insight to help them to think and act as one team, to be nimble and agile to meet the demands of change, and to embed behaviour change.
